Our full-day “Never Mind the Noise” workshop and “mini-retreat” is designed for busy working professionals looking to take some time to slow down and re-examine how they work and live.
“Never Mind the Noise” is the Voisen Cooperative’s flagship workshop, focusing on quieting and eliminating internal mental noise so that you can be more effective in navigating and thriving in the noisy, modern-day external world of ever-increasing complexity. The “Never Mind the Noise” teachings are founded on two key co-dependent principles for creating lasting change, principles we call “presencing” and mindfulness.
- Presencing is the art of finding solutions through the exploration of alternative possibilities. It means temporarily letting go of our habitual ways of approaching problems and sticky issues at work and at home to find new avenues for resolution and creation.
- Mindfulness is the active choice to slow down, “center” oneself and return to the present moment. Through mindfulness we learn to focus and become better aware of our own habits and thinking patterns so that we can be more productive and make better decisions.
During this full-day workshop and mini-retreat you will become an active member of a small, intimate and trusting community of individuals supporting one another in the exploration of self. You will learn and practice meditation, mindful listening, creative expression and conflict resolution. You will discover in yourself new ways to find more joy and foster more gratitude for your life while simultaneously reducing stress, worry, doubt and anxiety.
